Know before you go

Info

Stamphala happens on land we're guests on. Pack it in, pack it out, and leave it better than you found it. Here's what you need to know before you show up.

1–2 gallons of water

per person, per day

The single most important thing to bring. Days are gonna be hot and dry, and there's no faucet on site. Plan for more than you think you'll need. Bring some extra for your friends who maybe will forget. Stay hydrated my friends.

Contractor bags only

heavy-duty pls

Tyler is the king of the trash pile, and will be bringing a UHAUL to haul off our trash. We all love Tyler and we don't want him covered in days old nasty food waste. Kitchen bags tend to leak, bring real contractor-grade bags and plan for double what you think you'll need.

The List

What to bring

The basics. Build out from here based on how you camp.

  • Shade you can set up

A canopy, tarp, or umbrella. Daytime sun is going to be pretty direct and there isn't much natural cover in the camping areas.

  • Water. 1 to 2 gallons per person per day

Plus something to drink it from. A jug, hydration pack, or bottles you can refill from regularly. Bring some to share with friends. Otherwise we drinking river water.

  • Warm layers for night

Fleece, furs, cozy stuff. It tends to get cold at night so don't let it dampen your vibe. Slow your roll? Harsh your mellow? Idk.

  • Sun stuff

Sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses. Reapply often, the sun is our enemy.

  • Heavy-duty contractor trash bags

Please please get proper heavy duty bags so your friends aren't hungover and covered in trash juice after the weekend is wrapped.

The Forecast

Weather

It's California in June. Gonna be hot during the day and fairly cool at night.

Up to 95°F

midday highs

Will be hotter than previous editions due to the new location and the new date. Let's plan for it :)

Cool nights

layers required

Always better to leave layers in the car than wish you brought more.
